Mitsubishi jeep how close to cj Empty Mitsubishi jeep how close to cj

Anyone know how close these are (body wise) to their American counterpart. I need some electrical stuff but I know that Mitsubishi specific but as far as body what are my options. (tops, fender flares etc)

to my understanding, it is exactly the same thing as a CJ-3A.

Supposedly Jeeps contract for building the CJ-3 went up and mitsubishi bought it and started manufacturing them over here.

yeah, thats not a bad idea. It should be the same thing though. minus the motor of course. pretty sure mitsu threw that in there as an "upgrade"

Not sure if it matters, but the mitsubishi jeep are the exact same as the cj3b not the cj3a. Not sure what other differences it will make but the cj3a is a short hood, and the cj3b is the tall hood. So for wire purpose, it may make a difference in length.

I can use anything electrical from the American jeep because mine is a 24v but it may make a difference for fender flares and stuff. I'll do some looking around
