finding an offroad shop here on oki that will be selling anything for surfs is gonna be tough. your best bet is just to order it from the states for the same year 4runner. thats what i did with my surf. it's the same thing, and it's a hell of a lot cheaper

Thanks. Do you have any suggestions? And if i do put a lift kit on, is there anything i have to do for JCI purposes? Any paperwork i must submit? Did you put the lift kit on yourself?

Kinda depends on what you put on lift wise. I have heard of mild lifts passing without a problem.

What are you wanting lift wise?

I have heard, and dont hold me to this as I havent done it yet, but after the lift is put on you can take it down to the LTA and have it remeasured (might be a small fee), title adjusted and such. As long as the demensions match the title you wont have an issue with JCI. I'm going to do this with my surf in a few months becuase it no longer has the grush guard on it or Ill just try to barrow one to get it through inspection again hahahaha.

ian is right, you can take it down to naha and they will "remeasure" your vehicle. or, i have heard of some places off base not needing this and they can make it pass.

check out toyteclifts.com. that's where i bought my lift from. you have to call them to order things from though, as they do not have an APO otion on the site.
